About the Role
We are partnering with a prominent manufacturing firm in County Clare to recruit a skilled Maintenance Technician for their evening shift operations. This practical position is based within the AU Fill-Pack Value Stream and reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 4 PM to midnight
- Friday: 3 PM to 10 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and implement long-term solutions for persistent equipment failures.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues involving systems from 24V DC to three-phase power.
- Coordinate with Production Supervisors and Coordinators to prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Utilize Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices to enhance process reliability.
- Manage shift transitions and ensure adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a technical degree or diploma combined with at least two years of maintenance experience in a highly automated industrial environment.
- Practical knowledge of pneumatics, instrumentation, hydraulics, or vision system technologies.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as cGMP, FDA QSR, or ISO standards.
- Strong analytical and communication capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Competence in PLC programming or electrical control systems.
- Experience in leading projects aimed at continuous process improvements.
