Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Execute daily production tasks related to optical coating.
• Verify machine schedules and ensure all process inputs are correctly loaded into the designated equipment.
• Prepare coating materials for pre-melting; maintain cleanliness of shutters and sidewalls.
• Record all process and machine parameters for each production run using checklists.
• Supervise the coating workflow and assist other operators on machines as needed.
• Manage venting temperature settings and safely remove segments post-venting.
• Conduct spectral measurements adhering to specification requirements by selecting appropriate templates.
• Perform additional production duties as required by operational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least five years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Experience in optics polishing or thin film manufacturing is advantageous.
• Capability to comprehend and train others on Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of product quality standards and compliance with system regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Availability to work in rotating shifts or 12-hour shift patterns.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
