Role Overview

This permanent full-time position, based Monday to Friday at our Wesley Vale, TAS site, supports site operations by managing maintenance stores, inventory, and administration. Reporting to the Harvest & Field Shop Manager, you will oversee engineering stores to ensure maintenance teams have necessary parts, materials, and consumables to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory for engineering stores including receiving, issuing, and keeping precise records
• Coordinate procurement of parts, materials, and consumables
• Ensure maintenance and operational teams have essential items when needed
• Maintain stock accuracy through diligent stock control and inventory processes
• Handle invoice processing and assist with supplier setup and administration
• Provide payroll backup and general administrative support across the site
• Serve as a primary contact for visitors, contractors, and suppliers on site
• Assist with site events, compliance audits, environmental monitoring, and record keeping
• Support continuous improvement projects and everyday operational tasks

Candidate Profile

• Unwavering commitment to workplace safety, health, and wellbeing
• Experience in stores management, inventory control, parts coordination, or purchasing
• Background in manufacturing, industrial, or operational settings is highly valued
• Strong organizational and administrative capabilities
• High precision and attention to detail in record-keeping
• Comfortable engaging with suppliers, contractors, and operations personnel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and aptitude for new software
• Familiarity with JDE, MEX, or similar inventory and maintenance systems is a plus
• Practical, proactive, and hands-on attitude toward work
• Forklift license is preferred or willingness to obtain one
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
