Production Operators / Process Workers

About the Role

We seek dependable and hardworking individuals to join our casual workforce as Production Operators and Process Workers at several busy food production sites in Auckland, including Silverdale, Wiri, and Ōtāhuhu. These roles offer a great opportunity for flexible working hours across various shifts—early mornings, daytime, afternoons, and overnight—with the potential for steady, ongoing hours for those who demonstrate reliability and strong performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, operate, and sanitize production machinery and equipment.
• Engage in fast-paced food production and packaging line activities.
• Safely and accurately handle food products.
• Package, stack, and transport finished goods efficiently.
• Complete basic production records and documentation.
• Maintain rigorous standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace cleanliness.
• Support production changeovers and meet various production requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to accomplish daily production goals.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is preferred, especially in food manufacturing, though a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Must be reliable and punctual, ready to start shifts on time.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg regularly and comfortable with repetitive physical work.
• Able to work under varying temperature conditions in production facilities.
• Safety focused with keen attention to detail.
• Adherence to instructions, processes, and food safety regulations.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting without sacrificing quality.
• Effective communicator and able to fill out basic written documentation.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand required.
• Experience with HACCP or other food safety systems is an advantage.
• Possession of a current Forklift and/or Reach Truck licence may be required for some roles—please indicate if you have one.
