Inventory Associate

Overview

We are seeking a diligent and well-organized Inventory & Logistics Associate to oversee daily inventory management, facilitate stock movement, order dispatching, and coordinate logistical activities. This role involves ensuring precise stock record maintenance and smooth goods transfer from inventory to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock.
• Manage both inward and outward stock entries efficiently.
• Perform regular physical stock verifications and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare goods systematically for packing and dispatch.
• Liaise with couriers, transport, and logistics partners to arrange shipments.
• Keep records up to date for dispatches, deliveries, and pending shipments.
• Oversee stock movements between different warehouse or office locations.
• Ensure appropriate storage, labeling, and organization of products.
• Update inventory records daily using Excel or relevant software.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchase, and Operations teams to update stock availability and manage dispatch schedules.
• Track shipments and resolve basic delivery and logistics issues promptly.
• Maintain thorough documentation related to inventory and logistics processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience between 6 months and 2 years in Inventory, Warehouse, Store, or Logistics operations is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel and general computer operations.
• Strong numerical aptitude and effective record-keeping abilities.
• Capability to maintain accurate and systematic stock records.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable performing physical stock inspections and warehouse-related duties.
• Basic communication and coordination skills to interact across teams.

Preferred Background

Candidates with previous experience in e-commerce, wholesale, trading, warehousing, or distribution sectors will be given preference.
