Role Overview
The Maintenance Services Technician II is tasked with conducting line maintenance on Aircraft In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems as well as other onboard aircraft equipment. This role ensures optimal system functionality, reliability, and service readiness through inspection, diagnostics, repair, and certification activities compliant with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance operations including component replacements, adjustments, inspections, functional and built-in tests on IFEC and aircraft systems.
- Troubleshoot faults tracing to Line Replaceable Units, cabling, or other systems and conduct post-repair functional verification.
- Perform cabin sweeps following company procedures and report results.
- Execute software and media loading processes.
- Maintain cleanliness of components and equipment racks as per contract requirements.
- Complete all aircraft maintenance documentation adhering to customer-specific mandates.
- Communicate and escalate issues promptly to supervisors, coordinate closely to resolve them.
- Possibly work on various aircraft systems depending on aircraft type and assignments.
- Engage with airline customers professionally and certify maintenance work under appropriate authority.
- Assist with airside inventory management including cycle counts, packaging, and shipping.
- Uphold high standards of housekeeping, health, safety, and tool maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Candidate Qualifications
- Secondary or Technical School diploma.
- Minimum 12 months experience working on Panasonic IFEC systems.
- At least 24 months of aircraft maintenance experience, with recent work within the last 18 months.
- Preferably possess valid KSA GACA Aircraft License or an equivalent authority to certify maintenance on aircraft systems at the location.
- Strong aircraft maintenance background with capability to work under pressure and in a team setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic Linux operations.
- Capable of leading and supervising others as needed.
- Excellent command of English language and effective communication skills.
- Legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia and able to pass security and background checks.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet airport authority vehicle access standards.
- Physically able to perform tasks including climbing ladders, standing or sitting long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varied environmental conditions including confined spaces and noisy settings.

The position involves working on a rotating shift schedule that covers 24/7 year-round operations. It demands manual dexterity, physical stamina, and adaptability to challenging weather and work conditions.
