Position Summary
The Maintenance Services Supervisor supervises daily line station maintenance operations for aircraft equipped with Panasonic Avionics systems. The role ensures the safe, timely, and efficient inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs necessary to achieve 100% seat functionality at aircraft departure, supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize staff scheduling aligned with weekly flight timetables.
- Manage inventory controls and logistics for Panasonic and customer-owned assets.
- Plan preventive maintenance on systems during overnight aircraft groundings.
- Oversee site-specific administrative duties including local authority coordination, customs clearance, security seal management, overtime, vehicle upkeep, and office maintenance.
- Maintain regular communication with airline customers, airport authorities, customs, freight forwarders, and internal Panasonic teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide hands-on maintenance support and cover for absent employees when required.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate reporting maintenance staff.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience in Aircraft Line Maintenance with requisite technical certifications enabling compliance with local and customer regulations (e.g. FAA Airframe and Powerplant license).
- 3 to 5 years supervisory or lead experience in maintenance operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability to address issues proactively onsite.
- Experienced in applying industry best practices and company policies in operational decision-making.
- Good judgment and solution-oriented thinking applied to complex situations.
- Legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia by nationality, visa, or permit.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
- Flexibility to work any shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Physical capability for manual tasks such as tool handling, climbing ladders/platforms, lifting up to 50 pounds, and enduring adverse weather or confined spaces.
- Readiness to operate under variable environmental noise and congestion.
- Valid driver's license and compliance with airport vehicle and access regulations.
