Role Overview
The Maintenance Plan Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring maintenance operations are conducted in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. Reporting to the SSC Operations Supervisor, this position offers coordination and administrative support within the maintenance planning function. Collaboration with planning, scheduling, maintenance, operations, and engineering teams is central to accurately organizing, scheduling, and documenting maintenance activities to optimize resources and ensure timely preventive maintenance execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the site computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to plan work activities.
- Assess and monitor resource availability to develop detailed schedules for both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Prepare necessary documentation to gain access to systems and equipment requiring servicing.
- Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support organizational objectives.
- Maintain accurate and consistent data within the CMMS.
- Adapt flexibly to meet planning and scheduling goals.
- Advocate and uphold health and safety standards at the site and workplace.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Certificate IV or higher in Business Administration (or equivalent qualifications).
- Possesses at least two years of experience in maintenance planning or scheduling.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
- Certificate IV or higher in Planning and Scheduling is beneficial.
- Trade qualification is an added advantage.
- Strong teamwork, effective verbal and written communication, compliance awareness, customer service skills, proactive problem-solving, and quality assurance aptitude.
- Valid current Driver’s License.
- First Aid and CPR certifications are preferable.
- White Card certification is desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to undergo Pre-Employment Medical, Drug & Alcohol screening, and background checks.

Security Clearance
