Role Summary

The Maintenance Millwright will be a key contributor to Ferrero’s manufacturing operations by supporting continuous production through routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The role ensures equipment safety, food safety, production efficiency, and reliability.

Compensation and Shifts

The position starts at $46.84 per hour, with additional shift premiums:

• For 12-hour shifts: Weekend premium of $4.00/hr and night premium of $1.65/hr; working on a two-week continental rotation between 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am.
• For 8-hour shifts: Afternoon premium of $0.65/hr and night premium of $0.85/hr; weekly rotation among day (7am-3pm), afternoon (3pm-11pm), and night (11pm-7am) shifts.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot food processing machinery
• Enhance equipment safety, food safety, and operational reliability, supporting preventive maintenance tasks
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts including installation and commissioning of equipment
• Perform equipment changeovers and set production lines
• When qualified, carry out welding, machining and fabrication tasks while maintaining high sanitation and cleanliness in the maintenance area
• Adhere to health and safety, food safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and HACCP standards

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a valid Industrial Mechanic/Millwright trade license (433A)
• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience with license; otherwise, minimum 8 years if unlicensed
• Preference for candidates with food and beverage or consumer packaged goods industry experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team
• Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts supporting continuous operations
