Job description
Role Overview
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring optimal functionality of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems through routine inspections, maintenance, and fault resolution. This role focuses on maintaining the efficiency and reliability of solar plants including mechanical and electrical components.
Key Duties
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on solar PV installations.
- Monitor the overall performance of solar power plants to detect any electrical or mechanical faults.
- Address breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance on panels, inverters, cables, and associated hardware.
- Maintain accurate records including daily maintenance logs, service documentation, and site reports.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to coordinate repair and maintenance operations.
Candidate Profile
- Open to fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience in the solar or electrical sector.
- Willingness to work at on-site project locations is mandatory.
Compensation
Monthly remuneration ranges between 12,000 and 15,000 Indian Rupees.
