Job Overview
The role of Service Engineer involves maintaining and troubleshooting solar energy systems at client locations. The engineer will be primarily responsible for ensuring smooth operation and addressing breakdowns of solar modules and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect solar modules, inverters, DC/AC wiring, connectors, and earthing systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Safely measure photovoltaic (PV) voltage and current levels to assess system status.
- Configure and monitor inverters, and perform basic diagnosis of faults within the systems.
- Document the service activities and prepare a detailed service report after each visit.
- Respond promptly to solar service requests and breakdown calls, delivering timely solutions.
Additional Information
The position requires on-site visits to client locations in Surat, Gujarat, India, demanding practical hands-on skills with solar energy equipment and safety compliance during measurements and repairs.
