Role Overview
The company is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician for its manufacturing location in Clonee, County Meath. This is a permanent, full-time role reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform timely repairs on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and fix industrial equipment including high-speed machines, conveyors, and packaging systems.
- Support the Maintenance Manager in executing preventative maintenance strategies across all machinery.
- Ensure detailed record-keeping of maintenance actions, work orders, inventory parts, and equipment performance data.
- Continuously monitor machinery and equipment conditions within the facility.
- Strictly comply with workplace safety standards and company policies.
- Offer technical assistance and advice to production teams aimed at optimizing equipment productivity and reducing production downtime.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of at least a Level 6 qualification in Maintenance or Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- Previous relevant experience is advantageous.
- High levels of focus on detail and accuracy in work.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex problems effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, combined with an energetic and diligent work ethic.
- Proficiency in IT and familiarity with automation technologies is beneficial.
