Role Overview

Located at the primary production facility in Grannagh, County Waterford, the Maintenance Electrician will support the daily operation and upkeep of the site’s machinery and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all electrical maintenance and troubleshooting activities on site and equipment.
• Lead and coordinate the preventive electrical maintenance program, including scheduling tasks.
• Execute work orders promptly and safely while ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Record completed jobs in detail using a handheld mobile field technology device.
• Conduct testing, inspection, and certification of electrical installations independently.
• Communicate system procedures effectively to site management.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of all electrical equipment present at the site.
• Complete all job-related forms and paperwork accurately.
• Adhere strictly to all site Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Participate in training and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to compliance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven electrical expertise with at least 3 years of experience post apprenticeship.
• Knowledge and experience working with machinery, process equipment, controls, and automation systems.
• Skilled in both electrical and mechanical installations and maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that meet job requirements.
• Logical and methodical problem-solving abilities.
• Possession of a full valid driving license.
• Proactive in working independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexible regarding work hours, including shift work, overtime, and on-call duties.
