Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Bandsaw Machine Operator to perform precise cutting of steel bars and flats, ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate bandsaw cutting equipment to process round bars, flat bars, and blocks efficiently.
- Accurately measure raw materials prior to cutting and verify measurements after cutting to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain cutting precision, including straight cuts and adherence to tolerance limits.
- Manage loading and unloading tasks involving heavy steel bars safely.
- Keep the bandsaw machines clean and conduct routine basic maintenance to ensure optimal functioning.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols during operation.
- Collaborate closely with sales and dispatch personnel to meet daily cutting schedules.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in operating bandsaw cutting machinery is mandatory.
- Familiarity with various steel sizes, ability to use measuring instruments accurately, and understanding of basic mathematical calculations.
- Physical fitness to manage manual handling of heavy materials.
- Demonstrate reliability, discipline, and punctuality in work habits.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working in steel warehouses or tool rooms.
Compensation
The monthly remuneration for this position ranges between 20,000 and 25,000 INR.
