About the Role
The Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) team aims to protect ByteDance users across platforms like TikTok, CapCut, and Lark by ensuring platform health and authentic community experience. This team focuses on mitigating risks related to inauthentic behaviors such as account manipulation, engagement fraud, spam, API misuse, growth fraud, live streaming security, and financial safety related to ads and e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities
- Address various business security challenges on TikTok’s product lines, including short video, live streaming, and social engagement features.
- Identify fraudulent users involved in activities such as pornography, scams, gambling, and other violations.
- Leverage AI methodologies like computer vision, natural language processing, sequence modeling, and graph models to develop and deploy detection models.
- Analyze massive data sets including images, videos, text, user behavior, and social network relationships to spot risky users and content.
- Build industry-leading anti-fraud technologies, mine data patterns, and establish systems for detecting and proactively mitigating business risks.
Qualifications
- Advanced research expertise in at least one of CV (computer vision), NLP, sequence models, or graph models, including tasks such as image/video classification, object detection, unsupervised learning, text mining, or sequence and graph data processing.
- Strong coding abilities in Python, C++, or Java with familiarity in big data tools like Hive, Spark, or Flink.
- Hands-on experience with training, deploying deep learning models, and integrating algorithms into risk control workflows with validation of their effectiveness.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving aptitude driven by enthusiasm for challenging projects.
- Preferred: prior work experience in risk control algorithm research and development.
