Logistics Supervisor

Role Overview

As a Logistics Supervisor at Siemens Energy in Dammam, you will play a critical role in managing supply chain and logistics functions, especially focusing on international transportation. This position involves leading projects that optimize the movement of goods to enhance operational productivity and client satisfaction, all while supporting Siemens Energy's dedication to sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day logistics tasks including receipt, storage, shipping, and distribution of goods.
• Direct international transportation activities ensuring punctual deliveries and selecting appropriate carriers.
• Liaise with customs brokers to guarantee smooth and timely clearance of shipments.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve supply issues and track shipment preparation.
• Verify and approve shipping documents to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor stock levels and suggest improvements to boost logistics efficiency and lower costs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, international transport, or warehouse administration.
• Well-versed in inventory management systems and comprehensive supply chain processes.
• Experience collaborating with international freight forwarders and customs agents.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software.
• Capable of managing pressure and resolving problems efficiently.
