Logistics Officer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Logistics Officer to join our team at SANY Group in Dar es-Salaam, Tanzania. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics and Transport Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field. Fresh graduates with a passion for logistics are welcome to apply, though experience in logistics will be advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement, delivery, and tracking of goods, equipment, and spare parts efficiently.
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation including delivery records, invoices, and reports.
• Oversee inventory management and warehouse coordination activities.
• Collaborate effectively with suppliers, transporters, customers, and various internal departments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic understanding of logistics operations, transportation, shipping, and supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs clearance, and shipping documentation is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swahili.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to dynamic work environments.
