Logistics Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Executive to join our Supply Chain and Operations team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have between 1 to 2 years of experience managing logistics functions, particularly within B2B, D2C, and e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage order booking and processing across B2B, D2C, and e-commerce channels ensuring smooth operations.
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and dispatch teams to guarantee timely order fulfillment and efficient shipment planning.
• Allocate routes and coordinate with transporters to optimize delivery schedules and manage shipment flows.
• Monitor daily orders, dispatch schedules, and delivery timelines actively.
• Ensure accuracy in documentation, including invoices, e-way bills, proof of delivery (PODs), and shipping labels.
• Track shipments proactively and resolve any delivery delays or issues that may arise.
• Handle returns, reverse logistics, and return-to-origin (RTO) processes for D2C and e-commerce orders.
• Maintain accurate order and logistics data within ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS), and order management platforms.
• Engage with courier partners and freight vendors for negotiating rates and maintaining service quality.
• Prepare detailed daily and monthly logistics reports covering dispatch metrics, delivery statuses, pending orders, and costs.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies and logistics standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills and Experience

• Comprehensive understanding of logistics operations in B2B, D2C, and e-commerce sectors.
• Practical experience in order booking, dispatch planning, and shipment tracking.
• Knowledge of courier aggregators, last-mile delivery agents, and transporter coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and other order management software tools.
• Effective coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to operate efficiently in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.

Education and Background

A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related discipline is required. Prior experience in FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, or Manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
