Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Logistics Coordinator to become a vital part of our team. This role demands overseeing the full supply chain process, guaranteeing smooth transportation and warehousing of products, and coordinating logistics activities to support the company’s goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the entire logistics workflow from procurement through to delivery and final receipt.
• Liaise with vendors, producers, and transport service providers to assure punctual arrival of goods.
• Design and implement transport plans that optimize delivery routes while lowering expenses.
• Keep track of shipment schedules and verify that deliveries comply with expected timeframes.
• Handle the preparation and oversight of shipping and logistics-related documentation, including customs paperwork.
• Ensure adherence to applicable local and international shipping regulations and standards.
• Serve as the main contact point for all logistics inquiries and problem-solving.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as sales and customer service to align logistics efforts with organizational needs.
• Identify logistical issues such as shipment delays, damages, or errors and work to resolve them effectively.
• Drive improvements in logistics processes to boost efficiency and cut costs.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ proven experience in logistics coordination roles.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, transportation rules, and inventory control.
• High organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with logistics software tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication abilities; proficiency in English required, Arabic is a plus.
• Capable of thriving in a dynamic work environment with shifting demands.
• Thorough understanding of Airfreight, Express shipments, Less Than Truckload (LTL), Full Truckload (FTL), Ocean freight, and Bulk transport methods.
