Logistics Analyst

Position Overview

The Logistics Analyst plays an integral role in supporting Distribution operations by managing procedures and controls designed to optimize routing, delivery efficiency, and scheduling. This position guarantees the timely preparation and coordination of daily deliveries and pickups.

Core Responsibilities

• Evaluate, route, and assign all incoming orders within the system.
• Develop optimal routes for crews handling installations and teardowns, aiming to reduce downtime.
• Allocate Crew Leaders and team members to each specific assignment.
• Determine the appropriate trucks to dispatch based on inventory associated with orders.
• Engage with clients to confirm order details and communicate estimated arrival times.
• Work in partnership with the operations team to ascertain necessary transportation resources and installation tools.
• Maintain communication across multiple departments to relay updates on orders and routes.
• Keep the internal monthly calendar updated in Excel and distribute daily capacity information across teams.

Education & Technical Expertise

• Previous experience with dispatching, delivery routing, and crew scheduling is essential.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams applications.
• Exposure to rental or warehouse management software systems is advantageous.

Preferred Background

• Technical proficiency alongside strong computer and software skills.
• Experience working with Point of Rental software is a plus.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Work Environment

• Primarily office-based work indoors.
• Some outdoor work may be required during initial training, in various weather conditions including heat, cold, sun, or rain.
• Use of safety equipment such as vests, masks, and gloves may be necessary.
• Close working proximity with others in shared office spaces with exposure to moderate noise levels.
• Workweek typically exceeds 40 hours with potential additional or weekend hours.
• On-call availability may be required for last-minute events.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift items weighing between 20 to 40 lbs, and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
• Comfortable working in moderate noise environments and near coworkers.

Travel & Authorization

No travel is necessary for this role. Employment is contingent upon verification of identity and work authorization through Section 1 of federal Form I-9 with acceptable documentation.
