About the Role
Northpower is seeking a skilled Line Mechanic to join the Auckland Energy Services team. This role involves hands-on work constructing and maintaining Vector's overhead network assets, ensuring the network remains safe, dependable, and well-connected for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and replace poles, conductors, and related overhead equipment with precision.
- Collaborate within a team to deliver high-caliber work aligning with industry standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety in every aspect of operations.
- Effectively communicate and work with team members, clients, suppliers, and the community.

Candidate Requirements
- Current EWRB Registration is mandatory.
- Demonstrable experience performing overhead line work.
- Possession of a valid New Zealand Driver Licence; Class 2 licence is highly advantageous.
- A dedicated attitude toward safety with a positive and proactive mindset.
- Physical fitness to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and a cooperative approach to teamwork.
