Role Overview

As a Technical Advisor in our Energy Services team, you will be pivotal in ensuring operational safety, managing risk, and promoting technical quality throughout our teams. You will guide and mentor Supervisors, Managers, and field employees while fostering safer and more efficient work practices, helping Northpower maintain its compliance leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teams by coaching Supervisors, Team Leaders, and field staff on safe working methods, risk evaluation, and critical control measures.
  • Establish standards by conducting secondary defence activities, verifying technical skills, evaluating tools, and refining operating procedures.
  • Ensure compliance by keeping ahead of regulatory requirements and equipping teams to meet industry standards.
  • Transfer knowledge by shaping training programs, coaching technical expertise, and encouraging continuous workforce development.
  • Drive performance improvements through identifying and applying technical and safety enhancements that positively impact daily operations.
