Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated Lifeguards to join Places Leisure in a dynamic and engaging environment. The role involves collaborating with team members to inspire and deliver excellent service, contributing to a positive experience for all visitors.

While holding a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is preferred, we welcome candidates who are safety-conscious, competent swimmers eager to develop their skills. Comprehensive training and development opportunities will be provided to help you obtain necessary qualifications.

This position offers various advancement opportunities within Places Leisure, including pathways into Operational Management, Sales, Fitness, and Customer Service roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety and supervision of customers and fellow lifeguards in swimming and pool areas.
• Maintain vigilant safety standards and manage health and safety operations across the facility.
• Ensure detailed monitoring to guarantee customer safety during facility use.
• Deliver outstanding customer service with professionalism and friendliness, striving to exceed expectations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and uphold hygiene practices consistently.

Training and Development

Ongoing training will include competency assessments, first aid at work certifications, swimming instructor qualifications, and access to various apprenticeships.

Candidate Profile

A valid National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential for this role.
