Job Summary

Salayel Hospitality is looking for attentive and responsible Lifeguards to safeguard guests at swimming pools, beaches, and recreational aquatic facilities. Candidates will ensure a safe environment while providing courteous and professional service aligned with hospitality standards.

Primary Duties

• Maintain constant vigilance to protect guests' safety around all pools and water-based recreation areas
• Supervise swimming activities, enforcing pool regulations and safety protocols
• Perform water rescues and administer first aid, CPR as necessary
• Carry out routine inspections of pool surroundings to detect and report any hazards
• Keep poolside equipment and furniture organized and clean
• Ensure lifesaving equipment like rescue tubes, AEDs, and first aid kits are ready and accessible
• Offer polite assistance and respond to guests' safety questions
• Document and promptly report incidents, accidents, and maintenance concerns
• Collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Recreation departments as needed
• Adhere to local regulatory standards and internal operating procedures of Salayel Hospitality

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid lifeguard certification accepted in the UAE (e.g., Ellis, Red Cross, ILS or equivalent)
• Mandatory certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED usage
• Prior lifeguard experience in hotels, resorts, or leisure centers is preferred
• Strong swimming ability and good physical condition
• Capacity to stay calm and respond appropriately during emergencies
• Willingness to work flexible hours including shifts, weekends, and public holidays
