Role Overview

As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer at Emirates Engineering, your duties will include executing routine maintenance and addressing defects on aircraft in strict alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled aircraft maintenance and servicing while ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols, maintaining assigned aircraft zones using approved technical publications.
• Handle off-aircraft operations such as spare parts management and inventory control following company procedures with complete documentation for full accountability.
• verify tooling and equipment for serviceability and appropriateness, utilizing specialized tools as required; ensure cost-efficient troubleshooting adhering to procedural standards.
• Conduct component replacements per troubleshooting directives or supervisor instructions, strictly following manufacturer documentation like AMM, IPC, or vendor manuals.
• Adhere to safety regulations throughout all tasks, promoting a strong safety culture by reporting deficiencies or needs related to aircraft or hangar environments; maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in all work areas.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and promptly report any service delays, incidents, or accidents with detailed issue identification for corrective action.
• Oversee staff performance through reviews, goal setting, and development planning, ensuring alignment with company protocols.
• Participate in required training and recurrent modules to maintain skills and fulfill CAR 145 licensing requirements, securing approvals within specified timeframes.
• Be prepared for deployment within the Emirates operation including at diversionary airfields or manufacturer facilities to assist with aircraft recovery, supervise outsourced maintenance, or oversee aircraft acceptance and delivery processes.
• Ensure punctual attendance to all allocated aircraft arrivals and departures to capitalize on ground time and minimize operational disruptions.

Qualifications and Eligibility

There are two levels for this position:

Licensed Aircraft Engineer TE.03

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (12+3 years) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering or possession of a Maintenance Engineering Licence.
• At least 10 years of relevant engineering experience including a minimum of 5 years as certifying staff.
• Approval for a minimum of two aircraft types, including at least one Emirates aircraft type (A380, A350, or B777).
• Preferably holds or eligible for conversion of a GCAA, UK CAA, or EASA license.
• Comprehensive knowledge of air legislation and legal standards pertinent to international aircraft operations and maintenance.

Licensed Aircraft Engineer TE.02

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (12+3 years) in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic, or Technical Engineering or a Maintenance Engineering Licence.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in engineering, including at least 2 years as certifying staff.
• Approval for at least two aircraft types, including one Emirates model (A380, A350, or B777).
• Preferred GCAA, UK CAA, or EASA license eligibility for conversion.
• Strong familiarity with international air legislation and operational maintenance laws.
