About the Company and Role

Airswift is a global manpower provider specializing in the energy, infrastructure, and IT sectors, operating across more than 70 countries worldwide. We are currently collaborating with a major oil and gas operator to fill the position of Lessons Learned Lead on a long-term contract basis.

Job Location and Schedule

The role is based in Doha, Qatar, with a working schedule of six days per week, eight to ten hours per day, or as required by project demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Operations and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the corporate Lessons Learned procedure across Project Management Teams (PMTs), maintaining compliance and highlighting opportunities for process enhancements.
• Ensure PMTs adhere to the Corporate Lessons Learned procedure and related company policies, including the Major Projects Project Management System.
• Design standardized Lessons Learned Plans and templates, including registers, to enable aggregation of learnings across various disciplines and projects.
• Organize and facilitate key Lessons Learned workshops during project governance stages to capture insights promptly and in line with procedures.
• Provide timely advisory to PMTs and Operations on significant lessons to enable immediate or timely application in projects and operations.
• Review and harmonize language used by PMTs in lesson documentation to fulfill corporate objectives and reduce future ambiguities.
• Request, monitor, and evaluate monthly Lessons Learned reports from projects, submitting consolidated reports to management on PMT progress.
• Maintain and update the Lessons Learned library and dashboard, leading initiatives to improve tracking, sharing, and implementation processes.
• Conduct training sessions for PMT members to reinforce proper application of the Lessons Learned procedure in accordance with PMS and management expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• At least eight years of experience encompassing multiple project functions such as project management, engineering, construction, and procurement within the oil and gas sector, including a minimum of one year in supervisory or oversight roles.
• Experience working with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, or service providers in the industry.
• Extensive background in large-scale operational organizations covering operations, projects, and subsurface activities.
• Familiarity with project gating systems, execution plans, risk and change management, commissioning, and handover procedures.
• Knowledge of international engineering standards, specifications, and design principles.
• Experience with LNG facilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
