Position Overview
The College of General Education is seeking applicants for the role of Lecturer specializing in Mathematics and Physics. This position reports directly to the Head of the Department and involves teaching foundational first-year and higher-level courses such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I, Statistics, Linear Algebra, Numerical Problem Solving, General and Introductory Physics.
The Lecturer will evaluate students' academic progress, manage learning resources, maintain necessary documentation for accreditation and program reviews, and actively participate in instructional and curriculum development. Collaborative involvement in cross-college projects within the designated program areas is also expected.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited university.
- A minimum of three years of full-time teaching experience at the upper secondary, post-secondary, or higher education level.
- Preference for candidates with a blend of academic and professional work experience.
- Proven competency with diverse educational technologies and learning platforms.
- Strong academic and information literacy abilities.

- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
