Position Summary

The College of Engineering and Technology invites applications for faculty roles at the Assistant and Associate Professor levels within the Aeronautical Engineering Department. Successful candidates will report to the Department Head and are responsible for designing, teaching, and assessing a diverse set of courses in aeronautical engineering and related diploma, undergraduate, and graduate studies. Responsibilities also include monitoring student progress, managing learning resources, coordinating capstone projects, participating in advisory committees, and maintaining course documentation essential for accreditation.

Research and Collaboration

Candidates are expected to actively engage in instructional innovation and program development. Qualifications and Experience

  • PhD in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering or closely related fields, with emphasis on Aircraft Avionics, Flight Dynamics, and Control, from an internationally accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five years of academic experience post-PhD and at least three years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven excellence in academia from recognized institutions.
  • Expertise in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Proficient in diverse teaching methods including labs, simulations, and practical sessions.
  • Competent in educational technologies and platforms.
  • Skilled in academic and information literacy.
