Job Summary
The Learning & Development Manager helps embed the company’s core values and philosophy by ensuring all training initiatives align directly with the organization's mission and vision. Collaborating closely with property leadership teams, this role identifies employee and organizational development needs, designs and facilitates a variety of tailored training programs covering topics such as product knowledge, company philosophy, customer service, and leadership skills. The manager also measures training effectiveness to ensure impactful business outcomes.
Candidate Profile
Education and experience requirements include either a two-year degree in Human Resources, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field accompanied by two years of relevant work experience and certification as a trainer; or a four-year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with trainer certification and no prior work experience needed.
Core Responsibilities
- Communicate and promote all available training programs among employees.
- Exemplify excellent customer service and foster a positive guest atmosphere through leadership in hospitality.
- Assist employees in identifying behaviors that lead to service excellence and ensure ongoing training to align with guest expectations.
- Use effective training methods to enhance employee understanding and demonstration of guest satisfaction skills.
- Maintain regular engagement with the training team to support educational efforts and provide constructive feedback based on service behavior observations.
- Track training enrollment and attendance, regularly meet with participants to monitor progress, and collaborate with operational leaders to evaluate skills effectiveness.
- Analyze customer feedback and service data to pinpoint improvement areas and assess the transfer of training to operational contexts.
- Apply adult learning principles consistently within programs and adjust methodologies or retrain as necessary.
- Link all departmental and general training activities strategically to organizational goals and address performance gaps through targeted training interventions.
- Ensure training initiatives drive brand values and integrate guest satisfaction metrics into departmental discussions aimed at continuous improvement.
- Assist in preparing and managing training budgets in coordination with Human Resources and financial objectives, control departmental expenses, and monitor expenditures effectively.

This role is based in Dubai, specifically at Palm West Beach, Palm Jumeirah Road. The position is full-time and requires onsite presence. Minimum education
