Role Overview
We are seeking a Learning & Development Business Partner to join our team at the Auckland CBD office. This collaborative position involves working closely with various stakeholders within the BDO network to identify capability gaps and implement engaging learning initiatives that align with our business and people strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders within your area to determine capability requirements and design learning solutions aligned with organisational priorities.
- Develop, maintain, and refine technical and professional learning pathways and curriculum structures continuously.
- Work alongside subject matter experts to produce relevant, practical, and captivating learning materials.
- Assist trainers and leadership across the network in delivering effective learning sessions and promoting on-the-job development.
- Track programme participation, gather learner feedback, and analyse outcomes to ensure learning initiatives yield measurable benefits.
- Manage partnerships with external training providers to ensure programme quality and effectiveness are upheld.
- Organise and coordinate workshops, development programmes, conferences, and other learning events within the national calendar.
- Maintain and update learning content and resources through BOLD, our Learning Management System.
- Support learning communications, advocate for continuous improvement practices, and contribute to organisational development projects.
Experience & Attributes
- Proven background in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Talent Development or comparable people capability functions.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills with the capacity to influence all organisational levels.
- Strong facilitation, project coordination, and excellent organisational abilities.
- Analytical mindset with critical thinking skills focussing on ongoing improvement.
- Outstanding written communication skills capable of developing inspiring learning content and communications.
- Relevant higher education qualifications, coaching experience, and professional services exposure are preferred.
