Role Overview
Join Aurecon's Geospatial team in Brisbane as a Lead Surveyor guiding complex engineering projects in Queensland Land & Water sectors. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions that strengthen communities and promote sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on survey and spatial needs throughout project lifecycle from initial concept through to delivery.
- Collaborate with diverse engineering teams to address technical challenges and mitigate risks on projects in water, transport, defence, energy, environment, and industrial fields.
- Produce accurate, high-quality survey data and advice that supports informed decision-making.
- Drive resilient and creative engineering outcomes by applying advanced analytics and optimization techniques, particularly leveraging large datasets.
- Lead, coordinate, and manage a team of surveyors effectively to meet project goals.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree or relevant engineering qualification with solid experience in surveying.
- Registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland is highly preferred; possessing or aspiring to obtain a Cadastral Endorsement is advantageous.
- Proven ability to deliver impactful and practical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
- Strategic thinker with the capacity to understand overarching project goals and challenge existing assumptions.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within Queensland to support project execution.
