Key Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, mentor, and grow a team of Diffusion and Implant engineers, providing continuous feedback and encouraging a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
• Own and guide the development of diffusion and implant process modules encompassing cell development, process characterization, integration, margin improvements, and manufacturability for 3D NAND technology nodes.
• Steer process development projects aligned to the technology development roadmap to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance outcomes on schedule.
• Collaborate with Process Integration, Manufacturing Development, Equipment Engineering, and global teams to fulfill integration and technology advancement goals.
• Oversee the transfer of processes to mass production, supporting pilot ramp-up, yield enhancements, and long-term process stability.
• Lead design of experiments and data-driven approaches to optimize process efficiency, broaden process windows, and reduce costs.
• Implement advanced process monitoring and control techniques to ensure consistent and manufacturable results.
• Identify and lead initiatives for process simplification, cost-saving, and productivity gains across multiple teams.
• Partner with equipment and materials suppliers for co-development of next-generation solutions through early engagement, technology assessment, and consumable approval.
• Drive supplier alignment, managing performance goals, development schedules, and collaborative problem-solving to address process gaps and equipment issues.
• Influence supplier technology roadmaps through ongoing technical interaction, partnering with Procurement and Operations for strategic supplier management and deployment.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture aligned with Micron’s safety and intellectual property standards.
• Champion adoption of sophisticated data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning techniques to enhance process insight, enable predictive modeling, and speed development cycles.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily workflows to boost efficiency, quality, and effectiveness while complying with organizational and legal guidelines.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by exploring, piloting, and sharing AI-driven enhancements within one's area.
