Role Overview

The Equipment Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in overseeing and enhancing the performance of manufacturing equipment in their designated area. Collaborating closely with shift operations teams, equipment engineers, and tool vendors, the technician ensures machinery is monitored, maintained, and repaired efficiently. They leverage technical skills in mechanics, electronics, and software to diagnose and resolve equipment issues, supporting seamless production operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify malfunctions in electro-mechanical manufacturing devices.
• Disassemble, adjust, repair, and reassemble machinery using layout plans, manuals, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
• Operate diagnostic and testing instruments to perform equipment assessments and functionality checks.
• Rebuild and restore manufacturing equipment as necessary to maintain optimal operation.
• Implement equipment modifications following engineer guidance to enhance performance.
• Incorporate AI-supported tools and insights into daily tasks to boost productivity, quality, and operational effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and legal standards.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying, experimenting with, and sharing AI-driven process enhancements within assigned duties.

Requirements

• Possession of a diploma in Engineering; specialties in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering preferred.
• Prior experience in maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment is favorable.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and associated technologies is advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
