Role Overview

Join our Technology team as a Lead Backend Engineer within the Single Sign-On (SSO) division. You will contribute to essential backend services that ensure secure, reliable, and scalable authentication across Revolut's ecosystem. Utilizing practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CI/CD pipelines, you will focus on writing clean, maintainable code quickly.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices to advance our system architecture.
• Enhance critical business systems such as risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing platforms.
• Engage in both greenfield projects and refine existing backend solutions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java programming with solid backend development experience spanning over six years.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline.
• Fast learner with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within dynamic, fast-paced teams.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Kotlin or Scala programming languages.
• Background in finance industry environments.
• Experience working in startups or companies undergoing rapid growth.
• Exposure to product-driven development contexts.
