Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conception and deployment of systems for monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability critical to cloud services.
• Drive initiatives that enhance service reliability, availability, and operational productivity, improving client experiences.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business units to establish operational best practices and scalable solutions.
• Manage incident response, perform root cause analysis, and lead service improvement efforts to ensure sustained reliability enhancements.
• Mentor engineering colleagues, sharing knowledge and developing team capabilities.
• Engage with cloud-native technologies, automation tools, and distributed system architectures in a dynamic, innovation-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing and supporting extensive Linux-based production environments and distributed systems on the cloud.
• Proficiency with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, plus container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities using Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript to minimize manual operational effort.
• In-depth knowledge of monitoring, observability, logging, and Application Performance Management (APM) tools to proactively boost system reliability.
• Broad technical expertise spanning application architectures, middleware, databases, messaging systems, APIs, and microservices ecosystems.
• Proven leadership in managing complex technical projects, influencing stakeholders, mentoring engineers, and resolving critical production issues around the clock.
