About the Role
The Lead Qualification Specialist will engage proactively with high-priority inbound leads, communicating with director-level and higher prospects to identify their business needs, key strategic initiatives, budgets, and decision-making processes. This role plays a crucial part in smoothly transitioning qualified leads to internal Account Executives, ensuring an exceptional client journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Rapidly connect with inbound leads from Gartner.com to leverage prospective clients’ interest.
- Support the development of campaigns, business cases, and recommendations to accelerate sales opportunities and foster growth in the Become a Client Channel.
- Conduct email outreach using campaign management software and place outbound calls to gain detailed prospect insights concerning lead profiles, priorities, challenges, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with Territory Management to appropriately route leads within internal systems.
- Provide comprehensive opportunity summaries and client needs assessments to relevant business partners.
- Work closely with sales executives to advance leads through the sales pipeline.
- Utilize CRM and engagement platforms to track sales opportunities and outcomes.
- Engage in continuous learning via training, coaching, and mentorship backed by access to industry-leading research and thought leadership.
- Explore career advancement paths with professional mentorship and ongoing performance coaching.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- One to two years of professional experience, with prior exposure to the information technology sector considered advantageous.
- Strong telephone sales and persuasive communication abilities.
- Project management competence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Determined and competitive attitude coupled with strong executive presence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
