Program Overview
Embark on a two-year intensive Rotational Development Program designed to accelerate your career as an Applications Engineer specializing in surveying and civil technologies. This initiative offers a comprehensive experience across four major business units, enabling you to apply and expand your technical expertise with innovative solutions shaping global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete four rotations lasting six months each, gaining diverse exposure in product development, testing, technical support, and regional sales enablement.
- Perform thorough field and office-based testing to validate and analyze workflows and the effectiveness of next-generation products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally contributing to product strategies, market research analysis, and creation of strategic marketing materials.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and deliver technical training for clients, partners, and internal stakeholders at industry events.
- Utilize emerging technologies like artificial intelligence to improve internal processes and enhance customer engagement.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Surveying, GIS, Geography, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- At least one pertinent internship or up to three years of relevant professional experience with surveying, GIS, GPS, or positioning technologies.
- High adaptability, strong critical thinking abilities, and the initiative to independently manage and progress projects.
- Evidence of leadership capabilities and collaboration skills, along with legal authorization to work in New Zealand.
Additional Advantageous Skills
- Working knowledge of construction or mapping software and familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
- Experience leading organizations or initiatives within academic or professional communities.
Additional Information
- Position is based in Christchurch, New Zealand with an on-site working requirement.
- Travel obligations approximately 10% of the time.
