Job Overview

AiFA Labs is hiring an experienced Lead Python Backend Developer for their Hyderabad office. This full-time role demands over six years of hands-on experience in Python backend development, with a focus on creating scalable API services using frameworks like FastAPI and Flask. The position requires close coordination with data engineering and frontend teams to deliver reliable and high-performance software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services leveraging FastAPI and Flask frameworks.
• Produce clean, reusable, and efficient Python code.
• Manipulate and analyze large datasets using NumPy and Pandas libraries.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather requirements and implement backend solutions.
• Enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Incorporate security measures and data protection in API services.
• Create unit and integration tests to maintain code quality.
• Keep comprehensive documentation of code, API endpoints, and system architecture.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expert programming skills in Python.
• Proven experience developing APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Hands-on familiarity with NumPy and Pandas for data processing.
• Prior leadership experience in software development projects.
• Understanding of RESTful principles and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, or equivalent practical expertise.
