Lead Manufacturing Planner

Overview

This role entails leadership responsibility for managing all facets of customer project coordination within manufacturing planning. The position influences key processes, projects, and strategies affecting the company's operational quality and team efficiency. It requires moderate autonomy combined with sound operational judgment, guided by established professional practices and policies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Direct master planning, manage material flow, maintain systems, and regularly update production schedules and procurement requirements.
• Develop specialized expertise within manufacturing planning, acting as a quality and best practice resource while staying up to date with technical advancements.
• Ensure alignment of production operations with established plans and KPIs.
• Drive inventory optimization initiatives and continuous process enhancements.
• Gain deep knowledge of Gas Turbine and Accessory Modules Assembly, leveraging prior industry experience to support production strategies.
• Apply independent judgment within definable parameters to propose solutions and resolve straightforward problems, utilizing cross-team coordination and technical skills.
• Understand how the team’s work integrates with other departments to contribute towards overall manufacturing goals.
• Exhibit interpersonal skills suitable for a developing people leader, including hiring and mentoring new team members.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience specifically in Manufacturing and Materials Planning and Execution.
• Proficiency with planning and project management software tools.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel capable of handling complex datasets and analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
• Legal authorization to work in Saudi Arabia without sponsorship or time restrictions.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, recognize patterns, and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge of inventory management concepts including Raw Materials, Work In Progress (WIP), and Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) monitoring and control.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems, particularly SAP.
• Advanced competency in reading and interpreting Manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Effective oral and written communication abilities.
• Capability to plan, document, promote, and implement various programs.
• Established project management experience.
