Role Overview
The Global Brand Experience (GBX) team at Snap is devoted to animating the company's brand through authentic, engaging, and playful experiences both online and offline. This team cultivates emotional connections with Snap's broad community including clients, partners, employees, creators, and users worldwide. We are seeking a Global Brand Experience Lead based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to spearhead the embodiment of Snap’s brand within the region and collaborate across teams and external partners to deliver impactful events and experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Head of GBX MENA to develop and implement the region's brand experience strategy.
- Lead the design and enactment of significant events, activations, and initiatives primarily within Saudi Arabia and throughout the Middle East.
- Construct and maintain a strategic roadmap of experiences that highlight Snap’s product innovations and technology advancements.
- Identify opportunities for strategic brand activations that spotlight Snapchat’s priorities, new innovations, and creative feats to enhance client engagement and boost revenue.
- Create thorough project plans encompassing timelines, budgeting, deliverables, and success criteria while partnering with cross-functional teams including Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, and Communications.
- Oversee all phases of event execution from initial concept and creative development through logistics, production, brand placement, and onsite management.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with local venues, vendors, agencies, and production teams across Saudi Arabia.
- Manage financial aspects such as budget tracking for GBX MENA initiatives.
- Evaluate and enhance event return on investment ensuring alignment with organizational goals and measurable impact.
Skills and Competencies
- Exhibit strong executive communication and presence, comfortably influencing senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrate solid negotiation skills and in-depth knowledge of contracts related to vendors, venues, and agencies.
- Possess a well-established network within the Riyadh and wider Saudi events and entertainment industry.
- Show proven expertise in delivering partner-focused activations and ability to handle legal and contractual matters expertly.
- Highly organized with the capacity to juggle numerous complex projects effectively.
- Attention to detail in creative conception, production, and brand presentation.
- Solution-oriented mindset with an ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
- Strong cultural and regional awareness of significant moments and trends within the Middle East.
- Proficiency in productivity and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, Apple products, and emerging AI platforms.
Educational and Professional Requirements
- A bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experience is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing large-scale events or experiential activations.
- Capability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting sales and advertising efforts within technology, media, or production sectors.
- A proven history of delivering culturally relevant, innovative brand experiences.
- Strong business insight with a clear understanding of how event activations impact revenue.
- Deep passion and connection to the Snapchat brand and its community.
