Position Summary
We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to manage a diverse engineering team tasked with designing, implementing, and refining production-grade tools and applications that enhance video game asset pipelines and production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain agent loops and harnesses for AI integration.
- Formulate and manage prompting strategies at scale, including system prompt design, guardrails, prevention of context poisoning and pollution, and fine-tuning hyperparameters such as context window size, temperature, and top-k sampling.
- Create tool interfaces for agents, including MCP servers and structured input/output mechanisms, and develop sub-agent composition frameworks.
- Advocate and uphold best practices for typed-agent frameworks, ensuring all agents include robust observability and telemetry features.
- Evaluate and integrate local large language model (LLM) solutions to meet requirements related to latency, cost-efficiency, and data residency.
- Engineer scalable backend services and secure RESTful APIs leveraging Python frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
- Model, query, and optimize data operations across relational and NoSQL databases; implement caching and messaging solutions as needed.
- Implement strict authentication, authorization protocols, input validation, and comprehensive error handling.
- Develop extensive automated tests using tools such as pytest.
- Manage performance optimization, troubleshoot issues, conduct code reviews, and compile technical documentation.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Git and GitLab, and utilize Docker for development and deployment workflows.
- Lead engineering teams to successful delivery of AI/software projects.
- Collaborate with UI/UX, backend, production, SRE, and IT teams to develop user-focused solutions.
- Participate in architectural decision-making and mentor junior engineers.
- Operate within Agile methodologies, promoting continuous improvement in team practices.
Professional Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience developing production-level full-stack applications.
- Expertise in Python web frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask and RESTful API design, along with SQLAlchemy or Pydantic for data validation and ORM.
- Strong skills in front-end development using Vue or React, including routing, state management libraries like Vuex/Pinia or Redux, and component libraries.
- Experience working with public cloud services such as AWS or GCP.
- Proficient with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and comfortable with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Vector DB); knowledge of caching (Redis) and message queuing is advantageous.
- Experienced in automated test creation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, GitLab CI/CD, and Docker.
- Excellent communication abilities and team collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with agent development frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification.
