Job description
Position Overview
We are collaborating with a prominent Australian financial services company to recruit a Lead Frontend Engineer to construct a brand-new B2B platform from scratch. This senior, hands-on technical role involves owning frontend architecture and steering technical decisions involving SPA versus micro-frontends, state management, performance optimization, browser architectures, security, and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead frontend architecture and make high-level design choices for large, complex applications.
- Decide on front-end strategies including single-page applications versus micro-frontend approaches.
- Oversee state management and performance optimizations.
- Ensure security compliance and uphold engineering best practices and standards.
- Guide integration and utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with Angular framework and TypeScript programming.
- Proven ability to make and advocate for architectural decisions within large-scale frontend applications.
- Strong understanding of micro-frontends and frontend architecture principles.
- Experience with incorporating AI in software development, establishing specifications, architectural guidelines, and validating AI-driven outputs.
