Role Summary
The available position is for a Team Leader based in Pune, India. The individual will oversee project objectives, contribute to product strategy, and shape development best practices. This role leads an offshore team responsible for creating and maintaining components of a sophisticated proprietary e-commerce platform specialized in air travel. Collaboration with teams in New York and globally will be expected.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build innovative, reliable technology products.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
- Develop applications meeting strict high-load and scalability requirements.
- Engage closely with business stakeholders to understand and align with their goals.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Over five years designing and implementing applications using object-oriented programming languages.
- Proven independence in performing work with minimal oversight.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong analytical capacity and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for acquiring new technical skills.
- At least five years experienced in .NET programming and system architecture.
- Experience with .NET Framework, C#, Visual Studio, Web API, ASP.NET MVC, Angular or ReactJS, and .NET Core.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Deep understanding and practical application of software engineering principles like SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, and KISS.
- Excellent attention to detail with a passion for high software quality.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
