Java Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer skilled in Java, Kafka, Angular, and React to architect and maintain scalable web applications. This role demands proficiency in both backend and frontend development, combined with a comprehensive understanding of software engineering methodologies and Agile practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and support scalable REST APIs and microservices leveraging Java technologies.
• Develop enterprise-grade applications using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Ensure backend systems are secure, efficient, and well-integrated with databases, external APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and optimize application performance.
• Build interactive, responsive web interfaces with Angular and React, including reusable UI components and compliance with modern frontend architecture.
• Work alongside UX/UI teams to deliver fluid user experiences and guarantee responsiveness and browser compatibility.
• Engage in requirement gathering, design sessions, and provide technical estimates.
• Address production issues promptly and collaborate with DevOps for deployment and release cycles.
• Adhere strictly to coding standards, security practices, and industry best practices.

Technical Skills

• Backend: Java versions 8, 11, 17 or above; Spring Boot; Spring MVC; Spring Security; Hibernate/JPA; RESTful APIs; Microservices architecture.
• Frontend: Angular 8 or higher; React.js; TypeScript; ECMAScript 6+; HTML5; CSS3; Bootstrap / Material UI frameworks.
• Databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, with MongoDB considered a plus.
• Cloud and DevOps: AWS or Azure; containerization with Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins; version control using Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Other: Agile/Scrum experience; design patterns knowledge; performance tuning; unit testing using JUnit and Mockito; static code analysis with SonarQube; build tools Maven or Gradle.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or closely related fields.
• Minimum of four years’ practical experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Strong competency in Angular and/or React development.
• Proven track record building scalable enterprise-level applications.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Additional Expertise

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with event-driven system architectures such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Working knowledge of GraphQL implementations.
• Understanding of security and authentication mechanisms like OAuth2 and JWT.
• Exposure to AI/ML integrations and cutting-edge web technologies.
