Job Overview
As a Senior Associate Manager in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the organization's integrated HSE management system. Your responsibilities include policy documentation, implementation, and regular updates to ensure workplace safety and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Document, implement, and update the organization's Integrated Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (HSEMS) policies, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective application of HSE policies across the organization.
- Plan and conduct training and awareness initiatives related to HSE for employees.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics regularly.
- Organize periodic team meetings to review incidents, evaluate progress on HSE initiatives, and strategize for improvements.
- Identify and track compliance obligations linked to HSE, ensuring adherence at all times.
- Update management plans following the latest regulations and organizational needs.
- Capture and analyze incidents, ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented.
- Support audit processes and follow up on the completion of corrective and preventive actions identified.
- Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and ensure that appropriate mitigation strategies are applied.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Comprehensive understanding of HSE policies and procedural frameworks.
