Role Summary
The Lead Designer, Layout in the Advanced Converters Group holds a senior technical role addressing complex layout challenges. This position leads technical efforts, mentors junior engineers, and influences product design and company-wide outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative solutions for complex layout problems requiring deep technical knowledge.
- Serve as the main technical advisor to junior engineers.
- Lead teams and manage large-scale projects impacting business results.
- Drive technical excellence across organizational layers.
- Make critical integrated circuit architecture decisions guiding product development.
- Conduct advanced evaluations and optimize layout processes.
- Establish and refine layout methodologies to improve productivity and results.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven technical leadership with recognized organizational influence.
- Expertise in IC layout, architecture design, and process evaluations.
- Experience managing complex technical projects end-to-end.
- Strong ability to work across organizational boundaries to achieve goals.
- Innovative approach to developing layout methodologies enhancing capabilities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 7 years relevant experience required.
