Lead Business Analyst - Energy

About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst with deep expertise in the energy sector to effectively convert complex business demands into clear, actionable requirements and lead successful product delivery by collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate diverse customer, commercial, operational, and technical inputs into comprehensive documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, detailed process flows, edge case considerations, dependency mappings, and non-functional requirements.
• Engage with users, customers, operations, and engineering teams through interviews, workshops, prototypes, pilots, and continuous feedback to validate that solutions address the correct problems before expansion.
• Lead the creation of user-focused, data-driven products by guiding features from initial concept through to deployment.
• Identify customer needs via persona-based research and product feedback mechanisms and contribute to defining an end-to-end customer journey.
• Develop product features interoperable within various technical environments using Agile and Scrum frameworks, balancing scope, resources, timeline, and customer value across multiple complex functionalities.
• Coordinate beta testing and pilot programs for early-stage product trials.
• Drive product launch processes collaborating across diverse teams.
• Produce knowledge base resources such as user guides, FAQs, and training video materials.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree.
• Possess 10 to 15 years in business analysis, with at least 7 to 9 years spent as a product manager within technology sectors, demonstrating a successful track record in delivering intricate products, particularly SaaS and self-service applications.
• Self-driven, collaborative team player with a strong desire to create impactful outcomes.
• Skilled in managing project dependencies and securing stakeholder trust and consensus to ensure successful product delivery.
• Experience working directly with software engineering and development teams.
• Exemplary organizational skills coupled with high attention to detail, critical thinking, and capability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in tools such as Rally, JIRA, and Confluence, among other development management platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of the energy domain, Agile methodologies, and risk management strategies.
• Expertise in business requirement documentation including BRD, FRD, and comprehensive requirements gathering techniques.

Desirable Experience

• Familiarity with electric vehicle (EV) charging software solutions and EV technologies.
