Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead AI Engineer (Software) to spearhead product and platform development efforts. In this position, you will lead engagements with customers, working alongside their technical teams and our internal squads to enhance AI-driven solutions. This role demands balancing hands-on software development with strategic business insights, excellent organizational skills, cross-team collaboration, and a passion for advancing AI innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable enterprise customers to implement a wide range of AI agents sourced from diverse platforms—including models, large language models (LLMs), microservices, and orchestration systems—within their own secure, scalable environments.
- Build cutting-edge AI products for global clients, specializing in Node.js development and leveraging AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and Flowise.
- Research and integrate emerging partnerships, technologies, and AI models from both established firms and startups to keep offerings state-of-the-art.
- Design and apply advanced algorithms tailored for AI agents, utilizing deep expertise in Node.js and AI frameworks.
- Plan and execute smooth incorporation of new features and APIs across enterprise-scale platforms, combining Node.js and potentially Python skills.
- Maintain a strong focus on user requirements, ensuring solutions exceed expectations with precision and attention to detail.
- Adhere to and strive to surpass stringent compliance standards like SOC2 to guarantee product security and reliability.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of seven years’ experience in software development with a preference for knowledge in AI domains such as natural language processing, machine learning, and neural networks.
- Proven expertise in Node.js development.
- Experience with production deployments involving LangChain, AI agent frameworks, and applied AI is highly desirable; however, we welcome candidates eager to learn, with training provided.
- Strong commitment to designing secure, scalable APIs.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills paired with leadership capability to proactively manage fast-paced projects.

Salary Range: 160000 AUD to 250000 AUD per year
