Laundry Worker

About the Role

Become a vital part of Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Laundry Worker, ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of linens and clothing within a long-term care setting. Key Responsibilities

• Gather, categorize, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and residents' personal garments.
• Operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently to maintain workflow.
• Keep accurate records of laundry processes and promptly report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and universal precautions to uphold sanitation.
• Engage professionally and positively with residents, staff members, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in laundry operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership teams.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull the same weight, and remain standing, sitting, bending, or walking for extended durations.
• Capable of working with cleaning chemicals and following both oral and written instructions.
• Routine performance of repetitive daily tasks is expected.
• Must reside within the service area for this position.
