Overview
As a Floor Tech at Healthcare Services Group (HCSG), you will be essential in upholding the cleanliness and visual quality of floors throughout a long-term care facility. This role supports our mission to enrich the communities we serve by maintaining a hygienic and appealing environment for residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute floor maintenance duties such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and office spaces
- Operate floor care machinery with safety and efficiency
- Keep records of floor care activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor
- Adhere to infection control standards and universal precautions to maintain sanitation
- Provide courteous and professional interaction with residents, staff, and visitors
- Carry out additional assigned responsibilities as required
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferably a high school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience with floor care is advantageous but not mandatory
- Positive attitude with effective communication skills when engaging with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination protocols
- Physical capability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull the same weight; ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk extensively
- Capacity to perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently
- Comfortable working around food and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely
- Residency within the service area is required
