Overview

As a Floor Tech at Healthcare Services Group (HCSG), you will be essential in upholding the cleanliness and visual quality of floors throughout a long-term care facility. Key Responsibilities

• Execute floor maintenance duties such as cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and office spaces
• Operate floor care machinery with safety and efficiency
• Keep records of floor care activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor
• Adhere to infection control standards and universal precautions to maintain sanitation
• Provide courteous and professional interaction with residents, staff, and visitors
• Carry out additional assigned responsibilities as required

Qualifications and Requirements

• Preferably a high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience with floor care is advantageous but not mandatory
• Positive attitude with effective communication skills when engaging with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination protocols
• Physical capability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull the same weight; ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk extensively
• Capacity to perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently
• Comfortable working around food and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely
• Residency within the service area is required
